D. Gordon Rye, D.D.S. has more than 25 years of experience in providing Exceptional Dentistry to residents of Fairfax County and the Arlington / Washington, D.C. area. As a cosmetic dentist, he ensures that each patient’s smile is as beautiful as it can be for many years to come.
After completing his undergraduate education at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, Dr. Rye received his dental training at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Rye completed a two-year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Hospital before opening his practice in Fairfax. Since then Dr. Rye has trained with some of the world’s most prominent cosmetic dental specialists.

Crystal has been with our team since 1998. After earning her certificate of dental assisting in 1995, she also trained at LVI. Crystal enjoys assisting Dr. Rye chairside, and she also helps him prepare lectures and presentations for local dental study clubs and interns at the University of Virginia. Crystal will contact you before your first visit to our office to answer any questions you have and gather information to ensure that you receive personalized, exceptional care.
Dr. Rye and Crystal take great care in developing Personalized Dental Plans to help you keep your teeth for the rest of your life. Crystal makes certain each visit with us is comfortable and that all expectations are exceeded. Crystal’s husband, Daniel, is also a part of the team, maintaining our hi-tech computer system. He owns a computer company that specializes in serving the dental community of Northern Virginia.
Annie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Annie has been a licensed registered dental hygienist since 1996, and has been a part of our team since 2000. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, and received extensive clinical training in Evolutionary Hygiene from LVI in 2004. Annie is actively certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, has clinical expertise in the field of Neuromuscular Dentistry, and completes numerous continuing education requirements each year.

Lou is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and has clinical expertise in the field of Neuromuscular Dentistry. Serpil joined Dr. Rye’s team in 2002, and has more than 12 years experience as a dental assistant, including extensive clinical training at LVI. Laurie, Practice Administrator
When Laurie became a part of our exceptional team in 2002, she already had more than five years experience in the healthcare industry. In addition to her B.S. in Kinesiology, Laurie has had extensive training in business management from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and Professional Management Sciences, Inc.
